Having recovered from the AMC weekend away (not used to that much thinking at the weekend!) - I've spent this week so far getting things ready for Bowdon Vale's new Sunday School - using a whole tree and an entire colour ink cartridge! Its looking great though, Sarah and I are quite excited about it - I'm going to spend some time next week collecting all the props we need - such varied things as garden netting and pjs!
Yesterday I met with Joy from Care for the Family - got some really useful info on parenting courses etc - just have to find time to wade through all the interesting stuff she left me.
I've also started some school's work - The Broomwood this morning, getting to know the Reception Class, taking part in an assembly on committment and writing the number 5 - exciting stuff! Then onto Pictor School this afternoon, where I got to sing 'We are marching in the Light of God' and do a survey on how quiet or noisy the school was.
The Kidz Klub at AMC are looking at some old testament figures at the moment, we've done Joseph and this week we're moving onto Moses. Judith has a great Powerpoint set up for tonight and then next week I'm taking up the story.
Tomorrow I'm visiting Hale Pre-School and hope to get to Timperley's Fairtrade Pudding Party on Saturday - the Chocolate fountain is calling me...

Hi!
Ooo this is a first - I've never blogged before!
I'm hoping to keep people up to date with what I'm doing & what's going on with the children & families in the Altrincham Methodist Circuit - I know some of you see me buzzing about (now you'll know where I was going!) but others only see me every now & again. So here goes..
This week is half term so most of the children's groups & activities are on holiday - however I'm not snoozing in bed all week - I've been down at Bowdon Vale Methodist heping to run a couple of play sessions. They've been really popular - around 25 children & their carers each morning! We've made rice cake smiley faces, butterfly butties & kaleidoscopes - I've had great fun!!
Now I'm looking forward to the Altrincham Methodist weekend away - Shropshire here we come!
