Catch up!

Hi all,
Have realised I said I'd give details of theings that went on & then didn't!! So here we go - The Easter Gardens at AMC went really well (see photos above) the kids really got into doing them - even the BB who are sometimes less than enthusiatic about what I have planned! When they were done we displayed them at the back of church where they got some positive comments & fulfilled one of my love life live lent tasks!

The first freedom cafe at AMC was small but went well - we had 5 young people attend & apart from some stressful problems with the Wii it was great - they all said they had fun & would bring a friend next time. Plus Laura's muffins were yum & Matthew's smoothies were lush, so thanks to them & Meg for making it a success.
I think I've mentioned the fabulousness of Tiny Praise at TMC & the great holiday sessions at BVMC but if not - they made me very happy!!

The assemblies at Navigation Road went well - was great to see some of the kids from Kids Klub at school. I've just got this terms scheme of work from Pictor School = they would like me to do some lessons on using the Bible.

I think we've persuaded Kevin & Jane to come to Greenbelt this year so we must get on & book our tickets.

However my priority at the mo is to get on & sort my office out - it looks like a resource based whirlwind has blown through, so better not put it off any longer...

Who built the ark?

Hello again,
Had a great day today - 7 families at Tiny Praise!!! Woo hoo! We all had a fab time - making rainmakers, salt dough animals and rainbows - we even had the sand and water tray in church! Afterwards lunch and chat was enjoyed by all. Carrie and I even managed to be tidied up by 2 o'clock (thanks to Will too!)
The weather is beautiful - I've got the window in my office open and I'm thinking of bringing a deck chair and seeing if the wifi will stretch to the carpark for tomorrow.
Lots of meetings this week - I promise I'll try and stay awake for all of them!
I'm doing my first assemblies tomorrow at Navigation Road so if anyone reads this before then I could do with some prayers!

I'm off to find my walking boots (as a prop - not planning to hike off!)

Roll on Easter!

Hi again,

I've been busy doing Easter things in schools this week. We made Easter Wreaths at Pictor on Wednesday & I joined the Reception class on an Easter Bonnet Parade today looking very fetching in a butterfly hat that kept falling over my eyes!
We discovered that the kids Klub at AMC know a lot more about Moses than we thought when we had The Big Moses Quiz on Wednesday & had to have a tie breaker because so may teams got all the questions right! Well done them!
Carrie & I are getting ready for the next tiny praise at Timperley- Noah this time & Laura & I made some cool invites to the new Freedom Youth Cafe at Altrincham.
In other good news they are finally coming to lay my carpet on wednesday - hurrah! Invites to visit will follow!
