Wow what a busy couple of weeks its been! I rturned from the Layworkers conference on the Friday night and moved house on the Saturday morning! We are settling in ok apart from a lack of carpet on 1 room - but we'll get there!
Next came my first stint at the new Sunday School - Friends and Heroes at Bowdon Vale. 5 children came and we all really enjoyed learning about Jesus and the Big Catch!
Monday was our first Tiny Praise at Timperley - thanks to Carrie for getting it all sorted while I was away! Three families attended and we learnt about Creation while having a fab time painting, glittering and dancing in church! ( As Chloe said - Paint?! In Church!!!?) We had lunch together afterwards and our smaller guests didn't want to go home!
This week has been all about Rewind to Easter - a multi-church event using Scripture Union material. Over 500 children are booked in to come to churches across the Altrincham and Sale area to have fun and learn about Easter - and this today we've just had our first event at Timperley Methodist - 100 children from Heyes Lane and Pictor Schools. A great time was had by all.
Right - better get on with researching the Seder Meal for Altrincham Kidz Klub
love and blessings Jackie
